Methods and proposals for change

I am a design researcher at the University of Queensland. I use creative and participatory methods to respond to complex social and environmental issues and explore alternative futures. This research leads to both conceptual and practical outcomes.

My design artefacts include the NewsCube, an award-winning storytelling tool and Vim, a tangible energy story. I have developed frameworks and methodologies bushfire resilience, tangible storytelling and injured workers – a project that led to legislative change.

Current projects focus on water security and supporting coral reefs through building community resilience.
