Wicked Thinking is an experimental zine that uses design fictions – in the form of speculative news – to engage readers in shaping a preferable futures.
The publication melds journalism, art and design to spark thinking about the challenges we face and imagine novel responses. The stories respond to current, real world issues and speculate on the possible consequences of events and actions by powerful people and institutions.
As trust in institutions erodes and the scale and complexity of problems increase, we need creative, radical ideas about how to respond. We need wicked thinking.
